To make people think about what critical thinking is and deepen our own knowledge at the same time.
To highlight how much or how little we all know.

We chose to

Devise a quiz on critical thinking.
Use Kahoot, because we know it well.
Research content.
Agree on questions.
Check answers are correct.
Set up quiz.

How long does it  take?

20 minutes to play the quiz we created. Another 60 minutes to make your own.

What do I need?

​Computer with internet access, to manage quiz.
Devices such as laptops, Ipads, mobile phones for students to participate.

How it works

Log in to Kahoot or join as a guest.
Familiarise yourself with the questions.
Adjust settings as needed.
Choose your game mode (classic, individual or team).
Share web address .kahoot.it/ 
Share quiz code.
​Start the quiz and control it as the quiz manager.

How it ends

Share the results of the quiz:

• ​Did any of the answers surprise you?
• Have you found out anything new about critical thinking?
• Which questions caught you out?
• Challenge pairs to create their own quiz questions on a similar theme.

​​Always ask your participants for feedback:

• Did they understand the task?
• What did they learn? 
• What did they find easy or difficult, why?
• What did the student leaders do well?
• Where can the leaders improve?
• How could the activity be made even better?
