The Biotehnicad Education Centre Ljubljana is one of the ten largest school centres in Slovenia. In addition to general, 9 secondary and 2 higher education programmes enable students and adults to acquire expertise and competences in veterinary, food and nutrition, biotechnology, nature and hospitality and tourism.

In December 2020, the school received a national award for outstanding achievements in the field of education for 2020.

This school is an associate partner on the Thinking Otherwise project (supported by Robin Dewa, Bodi Svetloba NGO)
